Scout is turning into an amazing dog.
He's a bit over fifty pounds and is in perfect health.
We've been through a few puppy classes and he was the star of the show.
He's also unbelievably fast and agile.
We are out in the woods a lot and it is common for me to see him doing a superman leap at full gallop over a downed tree.
It's really something to see and we can't help but compare his moves and mannerisms to a horse.
Anyway, dad likes to brag.
Have a fantastic new year!

Britt, Melanie, & Audrey

Puppy is doing great.
He is still as cool and calm as he was when we picked him up. He has been eating on schedule three times a day and drinking lots of water. Once we go to bed he usually makes it to 1 or 2 until he needs to go outside, then he goes back to sleep until 6:30 or so. We haven't had any accidents yet and he is responding well when we encourage him to "go potty". He is fine in the car, we were worried he might get sick but no signs of that. He's going up steps well, though he is nervous going down so we are taking that slow. He's playing well with his toys and has staked out a couple spots he likes to nap. Our poodle has been trying to get friendly but she's a bit shy so they are dancing around each other. Our Bichon has been pretty snooty but today they started playing a bit so it should just be a matter of time for those two. We've hardly heard a peep out of the little guy, though he does have a cute little yip when he gets excited. Our whole family is thrilled to have the little guy in our midst. We are naming him Scout.
Thanks again for everything.

Oh my gosh Henna is the sweetest girl. We had a good trip and she slept most of the way. Our other dog Doug hasn't stopped smiling. They are going to be good friends. She ate when we got home and again this morning and has gone potty several times. Thank you for such a sweet girl. She is such a joy:-)

Hope you are surviving the heat wave. We gave up and went to the ocean to
cool off.
Attached are a couple of photos of Hunter enjoying himself on the beach. He
loves to play in the wood s, and on the beach, as you can see.
He is almost 23 months old now and weighs 48 pounds. He is still a lean
happy playing machine with other dogs, but very calm and collected at home,
on walks and around other people. It seems like everyone who sees him wants
to come say hello and comment on how handsome he is. Must come from his
lovely parents.
We hope all is well with your family.
Cheers,
L D & Jackie

I trust all is well in your home. Sydney & I enjoy the postings of all the poodle news.
We thought you would enjoy seeing this little write-up about Woody & Newt being named Co-Dog of the Month at Riverdog in Issaquah. Our guys have brought joy to hundreds if not thousands of people they have met in the last 3 ½ years for Woody & 2 ½ for Newt. They are the joy of our lives.
The write-up really captures who Woody & Newt are. http://www.riverdogk9.com/blog/april-dogs-month-0
Thank you for all your efforts to bring wonderful poodles into the lives of many others. Keep up the good work.
Best,
Peter
Ransom and Toby having a great time. Our dog walker met him today and said she is astounded by how mature he is - she said "that's a one in a million puppy". Truly, he is amazing.
Two boxes arrived today safe and sound. Thank you for so many wonderful toys! That's very generous of you. I'm going to bring him some water and a chew toy and some liver treats for when I pick him up so he feels welcome. I swear on my life that Toby knows something is up because he's been soooo clingy. We have a plan for making sure he gets lots of attention, too. He is so laid back...I think he is going to love having a brother.
Thank you so much for everything. I'll hardly sleep tonight!
Thanks!
Niles
She slept through the whole night without crying or messing in her crate beside our bed! She seemed to sleep much more peacefully than did her new concerned mom/friend! We both love her so much already, and she seems to think we're ok, too! We've both signed the contract, but it won't go out until Monday. Wonderful care package! Thank you both so much! Mary and Jim
Chloe x Myles Pink Collar Female - Anna UPDATE November 14 2014
Hi Penny,
We finally decided on a name: Anna.
Anna is doing well. We had an ice storm here this week and that was
new and exciting for her. She is enjoying daily walks and is learning
all kinds of things: come, go potty, wipe, and sit. She is already a
pro at walking on a leash and is getting the hang of heeling. She is
so very attentive and calm. She is just a joy to have around. Thank
you for all the work you did with her. She is wonderful.
Hope you all are well.

Chloe x Myles Blue Collar Male - Zeke November 8 2014
Penny
Just wanted to drop you a note to share how well Zeke is doing. He's been
here a little over a week now. He follows Hudson everywhere he goes outside
by himself to go to the bathroom, no accidents yet. Hasn't really chewed
anything except the tip of my aloe vera plant, which I moved for both Zeke
and the plants safety. He listens very well for being so young. He is such
a sweet pup. I'm so glad he came to live with us, Thank you
Have a great weekend
Chloe x Myles Pink Collar Female November 4 2014
Hi Penny,
Just wanted to let you know how our little girl is doing. We still
haven't fully decided on a name but are getting closer. She was a
trooper on the long ride home. The first night she settled right in
with no whining. The next day she was a bit down but we gave her a lot
of love and cuddling and today she is much more energetic and playful.
Thanks again for all your help and for this lovely girl. She is doing
our hearts so much good.
Talia
